COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS | Family Village of North Louisiana

Christmas in July was a HUGE success! Our community came together to stock the Community Christmas store with over 3,000 gifts. Thank you to everyone who participated. There are still many things to do to make Community Christmas happen.

What is Community Christmas?

Community Christmas is a collaboration between several different organizations in our community. Individuals of our participating organizations have the opportunity to earn “Christmas Cash”, the currency used at Community Christmas, throughout the year by participating in life building activities and classes. Community Christmas is December 3rd & 4th this year at the Civic Center.

It was a joy to have the opportunity to make connections and build relationships with our neighbors during the Christmas in July Gift Drive.

Thank you to the churches, Main Street Ruston businesses, civic clubs, Lady Techsters, kids' groups, Ruston Fire Department, City of Ruston Maintenance Department, the Mayor's Office, local radio stations and publications, businesses, families, and individuals who were part of Christmas in July.

Though the gift drive is complete, we aren't done! There are still a number of ways you can be involved with Community Christmas on December 3 and 4. Check back for opportunities to bake, set up, help shoppers, wrap gifts, and more November 1.
